This year Janet and I will be riding with Janet's sisters Carol and Ellen. We've formed "The B-Team" as a fun way to help fund-raise and get ourselves ready for the ride. You can read more about our team here.

We're well into our road training for '08 while continuing to take Spin with Rachel at LA Fitness. Like last year, we've been logging our rides on the beautiful roads of Bucks County -- posting photos, stories and stats.

In 2007 we rode in the 28th running of the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge and raised $10,000. You can read the "live" report we posted here and also see our slideshow from the weekend.

About The Pan-Massachusetts Challenge
The PMC, presented by the Boston Red Sox and Overstock.com, is the nation's first fundraising bike-a-thon and today raises more money than any other athletic fundraising event in the country. On August 2 and 3, 2008, more than 5,500 cyclists will travel seven routes, logging between 50 and 192 miles over one or two days, through 46 scenic Massachusetts towns to raise $34 million for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

A leisurely Sunday morning ride

A leisurely Sunday morning ride just to keep the dust off the bikes. Still warm and a bit humid out, but a hint of fall was in the air. We did the "Creamery Loop," substituting Aquetong for the big Windy Bush hill.

Sunday Morning Ride Stats:
24.33 mi distance
12.7 mph avg speed
1hr 54min ride time
35 mph max speed
